We know attending a new church may be intimidating, but we are here to help! When you arrive our greeter team will help you navigate our campus and plug you in to our ministries. Cypress Shores is the caring place, so our desire is that you feel at home when you walk through the doors.
Sunday School classes are small groups where life happens. We have groups for all ages from kids to senior adults! In Sunday School, we dive into the Bible to learn what God has for our lives. We’ll help you find the class that is the best fit for you!
Our Sunday worship service is where we come together as a family to worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We do this through music and the Word. After a time of worship through singing, our pastor teaches from the Bible. Our nursery is available for children birth through 4 years old and children’s church is available for kids K5-4th grade.
On Wednesday nights we have several ministries for all ages. Kids 1st-5th grade particpate in Team Kid – a program where they have fun playing games, making crafts, and learning about the Bible. Youth ages 6th-12th grade have a Bible study where they can hang out and learn what God has to say to them. Adults meet for Bible study and prayer. This gathering has a laid back feel where we pray for one another and learn from God’s Word.
How long is a typical service?
Our Sunday morning worship services typically lasts about 60 minutes.
What should I wear?
At Cypress Shores, we don’t have a dress code! Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable – God has told us to come as we are. Our members wear everything from suits and ties, jeans and polos, to shorts and t-shirts. So come as you are!

Do you have a nursery?
Yes, if you have a child under 5 years olds, we offer a nursery on Sunday mornings. Our volunteers are prepared to take care of your little one while you worship. Plan to arrive a few minutes early to check in your child. Saftey is our top priority – all our volunteers are background checked.
Do you offer transportation to church?
If you need help with transportation, we may be able to pick you up for church. We offer a bus ministry, so contact our office to see if we can help.

We are delighted to have Bro. Garry Harred as our Interim Pastor at this time. Pastor Garry was born in Dallas, Texas. He and his wife, Jeanne, married in 1974. Bro. Garry graduated in 1977 and 1979 with degrees from Criswell College. He began pastoring in 1978. In 1983, Garry and his family moved to the Mobile area and pastored three different churches before retiring in 2022. He remains busy as an interim pastor, entertaining seven grandkids, and going salt-water fishing. Jesus is still the Lord of his life and Jeanne is still the love of his life.
